In a dutch oven, put the following ingredients:

1 Pork Loin (or some other cut with some fat)
diced green onion (at least 4 stems)
chopped garlic (at least 4 cloves)
1 Cup water
1/2 cup soy sauce (water, soy and surgar amounts to taste....)
3 T Sugar

I usually mix the liquid together in a big measuring cup, and heat
it a little in the microwave, to disolve the sugar into the liquid.
Use a pot or dutch oven of appropriate size so that when you pour
the liquid over the meat, the meat is mostly submerged....

cook it at 250 degrees for at least 3 hrs, 4 if it's a big roast.
Don't start with a cold roast, and add time if you do... Can choose
any cut of meat, keeping in mind that fat is good.
(pork loin works better than a tenderloin).

serve with rice and a cotes-du-rhone red wine.
